Emperor Shrimp Photo

Emperor Shrimp, Periclimenes imperator
It's the second meeting of the year and I am excited to have my second 1st place win for this image of an Emperor Shrimp, Periclimenes imperator, taken on my recent trip to Anilao Philippines, during a night dive at the Anilao Pier. This rarely seen shrimp is usually found hitching a ride on the backs of sea cucumbers or large nudibranchs.

More photos from our incredible trip to the Philippines to be posted in the coming weeks!

  1. It's true that there is wealth to be made in photography and I'm not going to down play that or make a pitch to the opposite because in every case, it's been up to the individual. Meaning - it depends on what mode of photography they choose, how much time they put into the business, do they have a commercial bent, are they more artistic than usual etc. clipping path service provider
